来日するたびに聴いてきたが、この2回目のコンサートが最高だった。アメリカン・カルテットとして頂点にあった時期で、キース個人も1月にソロ・ピアノによる『ケルン・コンサート』を残している。一部では”Survivor's Suite”、2部ではピアノ・ソロから“Rose Petals”を経て、大作”Death And The Flower”と、圧巻のプログラムだった。
I have heard them every time they have visited Japan, but this second visit was the best. This was the time when the quartet was at its peak as an American quartet, and Keith himself performed "Cologne Concert" with solo piano in January. The first part of the concert was "Survivor's Suite," followed by "Rose Petals," a solo piano piece in the second part, and then the big piece "Death And The Flower”. It was an impressive program.
