Hello.It's been a while since that last update. Hope that you are all well.Things have been quite interesting in/out of the studio hours. We'vebeen very busy in the preparation for numerous upcoming projects. A fewof them required extensive amounts of research and time to format thestructures. All quite unique in their own way. The one that has justbeen released is The Blue Potential DVD/CD project. It involvesa live recording of me with a 80 persons orchestra. Recorded and filmed7/05 in Montpellier, France at the Pont Du Gard, this was the firstperformance for me since 1992 with Underground Resistance. I come toJapan next week 4/14 - 4/19 so, we plan to promote the project duringthe Nigisa Festival and Yellow parties.
Another project is called "The Belief System." It's a CDof new releases that I've been working on for since 1 1/2 years. Theconcept revolves around self-reflection. It deals with how I have beentaught and influenced to believe the things I believe right now.Somewhat an audio diary, it's quite revealing.
In these days, we prepare for Japan and the Nigisa Festival. It's thefirst time for me to play there - I look forward to it. I'm bringingquite a few new records and works by new artists. On the Friday beforeNigisa, I'll play at Yellow (another first time!!). I've been preparinggot this party for quite sometime (6 months). Searching out classicdisco, house, soul/funk and other things to bring. Should be a funnight. See you soon.

こんにちわ。しばらくぶりだけれど、皆元気だったかな。僕のほうはスタジオの内外で、とても興味深いことがいろいろ起こっている。数々の新しい企画の準備でとても忙しくしている。いくつかのプロジェクトはかなりの量のリサーチが必要で、構成するまでに時間がかかるものもある。すべての企画がユニークなものだ。ひとつはちょうど（フランスで）リリースされた「The BluePotential」ＣＤ・ＤＶＤ企画。80人のオーケストラと一緒にライブ・レコーディングをしたもの。昨年7月5日にフランス、モンペリエ市、Pond Du Gard遺跡で録音、録画された。僕にとっては1992年のUnderground Resistance以来のライブ・パフォーマンスとなった。来週、4月14日から19日までは日本に行って、渚とイエローでのバーティのほかに「TheBlue Potential」のプロモーションもする予定。
別の企画は「The Belief System」というもの。1年半かけて制作している新作ＣＤだ。＜自己投影＞というコンセプトを中心にしている。自分自身が、どのような教育や影響をうけて今信じていることを信じるようになったのかを探っていく。オーディオ日記のようなものだね。かなり自分をさらけ出している。
最近は日本、渚の準備をしている。渚には初登場。楽しみにしている。新しいレコード、特に新人の作品をたくさん持っていく予定だ。渚の前の金曜日にはイエローでもプレイする（これも初登場！）。かなり長い期間このパーティのために準備をしてきた（６ヶ月）。ディスコ・クラシック、ハウス、ソウル・ファンクなどなど探してきたんだ。楽しい夜になるはず。もうすぐ会おう！
