今日から汐留のパナソニック電工汐留ミュージアムで
『建築家 坂倉準三展　モダニズムを住む 住宅、家具、デザイン』が開かれています。

建築ってデカい、と思わされるのは
Ih邸大扉の実寸再現模型。幅3メートル。



あまりに重いので中にテンション（ターンバックル）で吊っています。

この扉を通ってから展示を見ると、
写真や模型などで作られた展示のプロジェクトが実際
いかにスケールが大きいものか若干なりとも感じられるというもの。
うまい！
というこの展示デザインは、坂倉建築研究所の手によるもの。

も一つうまいな、と思ったのは事務所で作っていた椅子の相関図。



年代順に並べられた椅子の写真
点線を追っていくとそれぞれの椅子の発展形が見れます。
こちらは元坂倉建築研究所の北村紀史氏の作。

所内で椅子のデザインを手がけた長大作氏始めスタッフの名前も
上に小さく表記してあるのですが、
もう少し大きく書いてあると良かったなと思った次第。

展覧会は神奈川県立近代美術館　鎌倉館の『建築家 坂倉準三展:モダニズムを生きる- 人間、都市、空間』との連動企画。

坂倉準三に大きく影響を与えたシャルロット・ペリアンの『シャルロット・ペリアン自伝』（みすず書房）も最近刊行されました。

IArchitect JUNZO SAKAKURA's exhibition at the Panasonic Shiodome Museum
has started today.

The first photograph is the real size reproduction model of the Large
Door of a house. This huge door is three meters wide, so big that it
needs the brace and turnbuckles inside to hold itself.

When you pass through this door and see other objects, you will realize
how big the architecture was. This well-planed exhibition was done by
Sakakura Associates.

Their correlation diagram of chairs they made was also very
intelligently arranged (second photograph). They aligned the chairs in
chronological order and illustrated the development history with lines.
The diagram was designed by former Sakakura Associates staff, Noribumi
Kitamura.

This is a part of collaborated exhibition with The Museum of Modern Art
Kamakura.

Misuzu Shobo recently published 'UNE VIE DE CREATION'; the autobiography
of Charlotte Perriand, who influenced Sakakura.
