ジェフ・ミルズ(Jeff Mills)
1963年デトロイト市生まれ。
高校卒業後、ザ・ウィザードという名称でラジオDJとなりヒップホップとディスコとニューウェイヴを中心にミックスするスタイルは当時のデトロイトの若者に大きな影響を与える。1989年にはマイク・バンクスとともにアンダーグラウンド・レジスタンス（UR）を結成。1992年にURを脱退し、NYの有名なクラブ「ライムライト」のレジデントDJとしてしばらく活動。その後シカゴへと拠点を移すと、彼自身のレーベル「アクシス」を立ち上げる。1996年には、「パーパス・メイカー」、1999年には第3のレーベル「トゥモロー」を設立。現在もこの３レーベルを中心に精力的に創作活動を行っている。

hey Jeff. I saw you in Chicago's gig and talked to you after your set..(I showed you the records you gave me few years ago!!!)...remember???!!!! hehe... well your set was extremely good as usual, but I have to say I wasn't very impressed by the dancefloor..I saw you twice in chicago and I believe in 4 years I've been here, those were the only ones you performed live...coming from Italy and after lived in London (been at your first "The End" parties and then "Lost" many times) I'm used to be surrounded by people that are there to understand your sound and the message you are trying to pass through.. I'm not sure that happened in chicago. But please, this is just my opinion. besides that the sound was terrific and I hope to see you soon...take care, mas
my girlfried bought your "Exhibitionist" DVD for me. Very great DJ Sets and interesting interview. What I miss on the CD is something about your studio. I mean, it's part of the source where your music is created. In a former interview that you gave in german tv you told a little bit about how you organize your machines -- like a "cobweb" with the mixing console in the centre.
